2006 on the Outer Banks

We are exciting about the new year here on the Outer Banks. As a Realtor I to have heard all the stories about the "Bubble". The market here on the coast of NC is still strong, some areas may be struggling but our area is always in a catagory by itself. We are a resort area and that helps shelter us as property owners from the changes taking place in other areas of the US. I believe the market for 2006 is going to be great! Buyers are more educated and know what they can and can not afford, Sellers are more realistic about their property's value! What more could you ask for? Sellers here are not suddenly taking a loss on their properties, they just need to right agent. They need an agent that will be honest with them, one that knows how to market their property to the right audience, and one that is experienced in the task of negoitating. Those are the qualities that I bring to the table for every client I represent and my clients know they have the best possible representation!

The weekend is quickly approaching and once again there is plenty of activity going on here on the Outer Banks. What's Happening here on the Outer Banks?

Well, Fall is here, it is a beautiful time on the Outer Banks! This is the time of year when most of our property owners come down to enjoy their properties and the great weather! Crowds are not an issue, no traffic problems and long walks on the beach are a must. The golf courses are buzzing, fishermen are chasing the stripers and all is well here at the beach!

This is also a time when a lot of vacationers come back looking to invest in the beauty of the Outer Banks. They are looking for an investment home similar to the one they enjoyed so much during their vacation over the summer or some prefer to simply purchase a second home. A place for them to run away to whenever they need a trip to the beach. Outer Banks Real Estate Market

The Market here on the Outer Banks is changing! This market has been very strong for a very long time and I believe it will remain strong but it will take a much smarter Seller and Realtor to draw in the ever increasingly savvy Buyer! Mortgage Rates are a little shaky and on the rise and many Buyers that have waited will be out looking to purchase before the rates peek too high but Sellers need to be aware that there are more properties on the market and Realtors are going to need to know how to negotiate and work out much more complicated offers! That is where I hope to capitalize! I have moved over to GSH Real Estate because of the reputation the company has for being top notch Professionals! I also am very happy that GSH is now affiliated with Towne Bank Mortgage!
